If you do not recognize these statistics, they are the stats of the winningest competitors to ever play Maritime Christian College Foozeball. Darrell Haines and Robbie Sevilla. The difference in record is nothing between these two individuals, especially this season as it seems that the balance of fate would be tipped to one of these individuals.
This week Darrell went into his game with Robbie Sevilla undefeated and came out of his game, recognizing the challenge before him, with the season drawing to its end. Robbie Sevilla would emerge victorious, showing that he cannot be counted out by the odds which our records prove to show favor to Darrell Haines. Sevilla would take his win and almost secure his 3rd place position. This weeks loss for Darrell means he must win his next three games or be in danger of losing his presidents trophy, for the first time in his three year history as leagues best at seasons end.
The playoffs should be awesome and may it be shown from this weeks games, that anything could happen. We could have a new Champion...

Playoffs very very close, so close I can smell it!
During the first year of Foozeball ever at Maritime Christian College, this is when the class truly came together and found out what it meant to have fellowship. It was during Foozeball season that the guys at the time came and really enjoyed together some competive friendly action. This same tradition has kept going for what is the 3rd season of Foozeball of all time for MCC. It is because of the fans that this league remains.

In the game for you today is Nathan Clarke vs Darrell Haines. If Nathan shall win it will be Darrell's first loss, but shall Nathan lose Darrell will defeat his former record for most wins in a row.

Foozeball Season In Review
With the New year beginning we leave behind what was in the Foozeball season. As this year begins there is only 3 weeks, than we begin the festivities of the New Year celebration which are the 2008 Foozeball Playoffs. At current state the odds on favorite are tipped towards three indivduals who have maintained close standing, although as we have seen before, these odds could shift.
Currently the odds on favorite tip towards an undefeated Darrell Haines who has maintained his position at the top of league standings for what is now the third year in a row. With only three weeks left he could fall from 1st place or could have the luxuries of top seed going into his 3rd playoff appearance.
Vincent Arsenault follows Darrell in the standings and is driven by the challenge of knocking Darrell from that top seed. Aside from this challenge for Vincent he will also wish to make up for last years upset at the hands of Robbie Sevilla who came in the underdog against Vincent, but would defeat Vinny heading to the title.
Speaking of which Robbie Sevilla looks to be closing in on the top as well, as he looks to overcome all odds again and this time win the honor of his first Foozeball Championship. He will look for this hoping to eventually have a shot at Darrell Haines who defeated him during the Finals last year.
